Dear Church Leader,

I love the mountains. Whether I’m on a family ski trip in the winter or hiking in the summer, the mountains bring me peace and joy.

But in Dallas, we are in the plains of Texas. There aren’t any mountains close by. When my family takes road trips to Colorado, I love seeing the landscape change. After hours and hours of driving through flat desert, we get to the Rocky Mountains. We can see them in the distance for a while, and then we gradually approach this majestic mountain range.

For me, these mountains represent stability and strength, which remind me of God’s steadfastness. When our RightNow Media team proposed the theme for RightNow Conference 2025, Immovable, I instantly thought of all these road trips to the immovable Rocky Mountains and how they point me to our Almighty God.

This week, you are gathered with church leaders from across the country to remember that we serve an immovable God. He is strength and peace and stability. He is our foundation. No matter what the news headlines say, no matter what diagnosis the doctor gives, and no matter the latest email from a frustrated church member, our faith is not built on sand. It stands on the immovable foundation of God.

So, during these next few days, sing loud, pray earnestly, listen intently, laugh easily, and rest in the arms of our good God.

Thank you for being here,

Brian MosleyPresident, RightNow Media
